Protecting Patina Copper?

Good catch. The driveway wasn’t sealed before so I used sh on the post treat of the cobbles. I also sealcoat driveways so it didn’t matter if I left residue. Also rained like hell a few minutes after we left. A few weeks from now I will seal it. If the driveway had been sealed before and was dark black I would’ve had issues. Also never run a surface cleaner down the border as you will take a layer off and leave a stripped line. Ask me how I know? Lucky I sealcoat. Haha. The rest of that stone on the front porch was blue but yes it wasn’t the solid stuff. More like shale flakey type. We used a 40 degree on the wand and post treated. I will definitely research how they clean that limestone.

I thought about getting into that blacktop sealing/spraying gig, but I would be competing against gypsies. The out of state ones are con artisits and crooks.

Is that gig profitable for you, or is it a side service to upsell? I guess what I am asking is do you ever just do a driveway at a house, or is it only offered as an a la carte menu item only.

There is way more asphalt in my area than there is concrete. some people even have asphalt walkways.

The gypsies! Lmao. Yup. They are crooks. Yes the sealing can be much more profitable than the washing. Most of the time it’s about the same. I go through more material but I can run more jobs in a day. My plan is to get every driveway from the houses I wash and every house wash from the sealing I do. Works pretty well for me and switching from one service to the other keeps things new every week
