Is it imperative to use non collapsiblesuction hose for a proportioner? Will braided pvc suffice for the pickup lines and then use non collapsible for the outlet to the pump?
They make the braided pvc hose in two wall thicknesses 1/8’’ and 1/4" the latter is what you want for suction hose. Look for higher pressure rated hose and you will find the heavier wall

Braided pvc pickup lines will be fine, 1/2” for water and SH and 1/4 for the soap line.
