Professional opinions needed

4300psi or 3800psi machine? Both are 4gpm . Is 4300psi necessary. I feel like 3800 is plenty enough power. But what do I know…

Opinions?

Are they both belt driven? If ones belt driven and the other isn’t I would go with the belt. If there the same along with price, 3800 psi is more then enough.

I know yhe 4300 psi one is belt. Ive heard belts are better on pumps. So belt is a must just wanted to see what really is the most psi needed. Mostly residential and concrete.

What size engine on each one? Perhaps the psi/gpm ratings are a bit optimistic and should just go with the one that makes the most sense to you.

Depending on the type work you’ll be using it for…psi is not the deciding factor… for me personally…gpm is. I’m sure if you test these 2 machines out with a psi gauge (and With proper nozzle size) you’ll find that you won’t get rated psi.

If you looking to buy a machine…look for one with a higher gpm rating…at least 5 gpm, belt driven.

Just Saying…

Agree.

One season with a 4 gpm machine and you will be wishing you went bigger for the extra few $$$.

If your going to buy new, go with 5.5gpm or higher if possible.

3500 psi at 5.5 gpm (belt driven) is ideal for residential and some commercial if thats what your going after.

Bob has a great set-up that is priced right over at Pressure Tek.
