Hi guys, so bit of a long story… bought a pressure washer build and have used it fairly infrequently over the past couple of years. I’ve recently had a change in my business that allows me to spend more time pressure washing, ive van mounted it and spent quite a few hours servicing and getting to know my machine, this is where the problems have started…
When I picked up the pressure washer I was given a “demonstration” on how to use it, the guy told me that the unloader (a K5) can be used to adjust the pressure… I now know that this was utterly wrong, and am wondering what damage this may have caused to the unloader and the pump?
the other problem that I have noticed is that the unloader that is fitted is also the wrong one. Its a k5.3 (rated 25-41 l/p/m) and my pump is rated as 21lpm. so my burning question is can I carry on using the unloader that I have, If so will I be able to set it up correctly even though its rated for a higher flow rate. or should I replace it with the correct K5.2?
also I thought I would go through the entire setup that I have just incase any of you eagle eyed pros spot any other potential problems
