Problem soft washing chalky surfaces

There has to be more to this. I’ve spent around 8k on four different formulations before landing on my fleet soap. Does your chemist work for animal cookies or something?

Thank you for that input and great information! Yes the 1 step is what really looked attractive to me. I was hoping it would be a great option in the winter time for cleaning off the trucks and trailers when we get back from snowmobiling. Sounds like I would have to pull them into the wash bay and let em warm up a bit. Will you just do an allison injector and a nozzle with aeration or introduce some air as well via compressor? I have never messed with foam injection much but I do have some nitrogen tanks laying around lol.

The guy that’s using a DS Foam Injector is using this:

https://suttner.com/products/product-details/?product=ST-160+Chemical+Injector

https://suttner.com/products/product-details/?product=ST-72+Foam+Lance

And whatever tip that goes on there for foaming.

I just use a foaming nozzle at the end of my lance. It has a 1/4" line coming down from it that I drop in my bucket. This is why I don’t like to foam that much, I don’t want to carry my bucket everywhere I go since the 1/4" line is only 10’-15’ long.

No and I’m sure you know his products as he has quite a few and he probably knows you as well (small world). The guy actually found me through a viral video 2.4 million views and tracked me down so we met up with our mutual supplier for dinner. I knew of him as he is local and I have used his stuff and most car washes around have his company name up somewhere. We are working on stuff now and I will be more involved in my off season. I guess he saw more than 8k in value.

I’m officially confused

He’s either trolling, or you’re washing his stuff, or both. Lol. I thought it might of been @pressureguy washing it. But you very might well be washing his stuff  @dperez

Got another truck down last night. Took all night to pull it and tear it down. Broken crank, bent rods and broken pistons on cylinders 3 and 4. The block is at the machine shop now. Hopefully the block checks out as it’s a $810 core.

I’m not trolling and whats your confusion? Its possible you have washed one of our trailers idk I see them sitting at yards all over the country and they get leased out at times when people need to store a load for an extended period. 15 years ago there was double the numbers before the economy crash. I don’t get involved much with that business (complicated never ending family buy out).

If you need anything let me know this is a close family friend https://www.valleytruckparts.com/

Thanks, I’m good on everything until I need to start rebuilding my AT545’s. I’ve never had one apart.

They make all my 4l80e’s look like lil peanuts. Got to love the built in whine on em

No confusion dude. 100 % doubtful that I’ve washed any of y’alls stuff. I’m not a fleet washer. Just weird is all because there was no introduction from you, where your from, likes, dislikes, what your favorite past time, hobbies, favorite foods ? Lol or nothing. Just popped on here outta the blue and started yapping. No biggie. It’s all good ,we are just a little more tight knit on here and tend to like to know one another better before we start handing out free info. Like I said, no big ,welcome, and wash on my man.

For fun I like boating and yachting lately, going up to the cabin and BSing by the fire is the best past time and I do a fair amount of side x side riding and sand rails on the dunes. I hunt and do some fishing when I am down in the keys but more beer drinking. In the off season I vacation and snowmobile a lot then do tons of innovating at the fab/design shop to keep busy. Family has been in the cleaning industry since 1926 and me since 2007 officially and on my own since 2011. I went to college and got a degree but I never allowed that time in school to get in the way of my education. On the rare occasion I help my brothers and dad with some fall protection jobs and train some of his guys on high rise accents or go do them if I’m not busy. I used to work on a farm in the winters Gathering eggs and power washing incubators for a friend as well. What I enjoy the most is talking washing as I do this for fun because I really love the industry and speaking with like minded individuals.

Lol, not bad. Where on this GODS great green earth do you hang your hat ?

I do tons of reading and research here and other places. I just never log in or comment and if you knew me my sense of humor is very sarcastic. I typically communicate via video message as so much translation gets lost through text alone. It also doesn’t help when someone new comes along in this industry and people think they have no value or know what they are talking about. I’m not new just new here and have been lurking in the background for months. If you want to talk about this business, big business, small business or whatever else just ask. We are all learning from each other and I know you wanted to eat your popcorn and enjoy the roast so I’m sorry to let you down. Can we be civil now and do some learning from one another?

West Michigan about 10 minutes from the lakeshore and on the weekends I stay on the water in Grand Haven Mi or at the cabin in Mears Mi by the sand dunes.

Lol ,fair enough. You wouldn’t happen to know where Hydrochem in Michigan is by any chance? Would ya.

Your in Ak I see. I met a gentleman from your area, well I think thats where he was from. Don’t remember his last name but his first name was Steve and I think his product was star bright. Met him back in January.

Yes Dan Sweede contacted me awhile back actually. Back before we outsourced the washing on our semis thats where we got chemicals from. Its about 25 to 30 minutes away. I went in there last summer and posed the idea for some long range military water proof key pad remotes for the injector on/off system they sell. What you think of those guys?
