Pricing florida

Is there a sticky or pinned post about general pricing? New here and trying to figure out how to quote jobs here in Florida. Any help would be great

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

Pricing is all over the board depending on your geographic region. I seriously doubt that anyone would create a sticky so someone could stop by the forum and check competitiors pricing. The rule of thumb on this forum is figure out how long it will take you to do a job, and then figure out how much you want to make an hour. That is your number. You may need to adjust it based on your market.

Not to be smart, but you join the forum and the first thing you ask is prices, this happens on this forum often and normally during the busy season. The owners of this forum like people to come in and ask questions, and they like the members to help new people. So, to elaborate, how much chem are you using, how much gas are you using, what does your insurance and marketing cost, cost of materials like tape and plastics, wear and tear on equipment, paying laborers, unemployment compensation, etc, etc, this is what your overhead is per job. Price of job - overhead = profit.

Good luck to you.

Florida tends to have less expensive pricing overall.

It’ll take you awhile to learn your market.

Generally, if you’re not winning any bids, you’re too high. If you’re winning all your bids, you’re too low. Adjust accordingly.

Also, get some pricing on your (or your firends’) home(s) from a few people…then you’ll maybe have some insight as well…
