Pricing a Building Wash by Sq Footage

Do any of you guys price Home and condo washing by the Sq Footage of the job?
We just cleaned a condo today and the total sq ft was 27,500 and it worked out at a little over 18 C a sq ft.
Is it a good idea to price per sq ft just like cleaning concrete?
I like the idea of quoting a price per sq ft to the customer for the building wash. Looks more professional.

Any thoughts…

We do residential by square foot. But commercial we do by the day.

you made $4,950 in one day and your asking if thats good?

Best day we ever had but I wanted to know if everyone priced per sq foot just like surface cleaning.
The one we did the day before worked out at 14 c per sq ft and I am looking for a fair way to price the jobs.
These buildings were quite bad and while it would be fantastic to make that on every building I would rather make half that and get lots more of this
type of work.
After reading lots on here and making a big investment in the vehicle and equipment it would be nice to try and dominate this sector in my area.
Just looking for advice to help me provide a more professional estimate for the building washing we are now offering.

Have you lost your effing mind!!!

Are you in business to make money, provide for your family and set yourself up for an early retirement of easy living or are you in business to get everyone to know your name?? If the latter, buy billboard advertising with your picture on it that says “Hi, my name is Bill Dent” and see how much food that puts on your table…

Try to dominate your bank account/retirement/lifestyle improvements/etc…

You would rather work twice as hard for less than half the money??? Spend more on expenses, chems, employees, etc…
