Yeah great. Does your 2 stepping leave aluminum looking white washed
Aeast54
Not at allā¦ You to have your chems right. You almost have to try to white wash it. Not only for aluminum but for painted wheels too.
You like the injector over x jet huh? Iām researching both and it seems to me likes could use the x jet or fatboy bandit to spray 1st step and the use the heated soap from upstream as the 2nd step. Iād have 2 reels but Iād also have the ability to soft wash residential.

Those results are unbelievable. I would have to one step that and the scrub the leading edges and the pump spray the rims/tanks
Aeast54
You can still soft wash. You could xjet step 1 and downstream step 2. Thought about it but never tried it.
If no chem changes are needed I wash about 7 or 8 day cabs per hour. Downstreamingā¦ And in the summer you wonāt always have to heat your soap.
Where are you located?
Thatās moving. If I could wash that fast I would make a fortune where I am now

I hate to even say this, but it takes me 1.5 to wash one by myself. They are oilfield trucks and pretty dirty butā¦yeah

No oilfields here but I hear Texas Red is pretty good. Do you have a pic of a dirty oilfield right?
I downstream my Chema and it cut my cleaning in half first time out!
I will send some pics next time out.
If I could cut my time in half it would be worth whatever it cost.
So do you guys have 2 different injectors or you switch fro chem tank to chem tank?
I saw a solenoid system that allows you to switch Chems without walking back to the system.
Greenwater; I really didnāt know how the injector worked. Didnāt know you would have to drop pressure to draw chem. I understand the process now. I just use the low pressure for an easy rinse.

Fyi an injector can be bought for less than $20. You only need one depending on how your route your hoses.
I also looked at the remote switch. Started thinking about it as another system to give you an issue to solve in the field. Also saw reviews about people having problems with certain parts.
Yeah Iāve been reading that too. I guess they make electric op ball vales also. Not sure if that would work or not.
Iāve read the injectors are not a long lasting part. What do you think about just having your chem tanks elevated over your main line? Open ball valves to supply the chem. would prob burn through product but you could dilute it and or just crack the valve open. Would take some testing butā¦? What do you think?

If you have pics of your system readily available is love to see what your down steam pluming looks like

Just use an injector. Donāt reinvent the wheel. I donāt have a pic. It installs anywhere inline after the pump using quick connects.
