Preventing bleach poisoning

That’s a no brainer then.

This is the style we ran in the oilfield. Ours were 24 footers I believe and had barn doors but otherwise the same.

Yes I probably should have just pm @dperez about how I was stoked to find the correct filters on this thread, where another thread on PPE had the right info about the masks but not the filters. Sometimes you gotta piece them together as it’s not all in one place. Having a topic of preventing bleach poisoning isn’t a bad topic to have at the top of the list for newbies to see as maybe they haven’t realized the harm sh can cause and provided a spark to look into it. Besides it seemed to have given many people a place to start a lengthy derailed conversation lol.

Heck, I don’t even wear sunglasses when washing. I’ll be damned if I’m going to wear anything else.

I train new guys to always wear PPE gear, it lasts a week before there too cool like the other guys. Telling them to put it on everyday became a routine, I gave up.

I may or may not already have the “cough” you don’t become the Upstream King wearing PPE

Did you see this @DisplacedTexan ?

It’s in Searcy Ar. Might be something your interested in, AT&T truck.

I think everyone of them dies when you put it in reverse and back up a bit lol

Look, we’re all going to die of something. No one gets off this rock alive and that’s a fact. But, I’d rather not suffer if I don’t have to. Wear your PPE.

That’s definitely the way to do it. When I get to the point of hiring some guys I’ll do my best to enforce it. That means either I start wearing it too, I stop washing, or I don’t enforce it.

I just had a lung xray last year. After all of the fly ash and other crap I’ve breathed in over the years I think my lungs are invincible. I even smoked up until 3 years ago.

I quit about the same time as you. Smoking since the 5th garde no I blow big clouds with my series mechanical box mod lol

I’m in the process of quitting smoking too. I’ve had two packs in the last month. I’m vaping way more. Had to get higher nicotine so I wouldn’t drain my battery as quickly. I prefer menthol cigarettes so it was really starting to get to me after nearly seven years of a pack a day. Started out on cowboy killers in my freshman year of college.

My mg is down to 1 but I still vape about 50-60ml a day
