PressurePro vs. water dragon

I see so many folks talking about the UDOR pumps being better than the rest yet I can’t seem to find many people running the units equipped with them over the General pumps.
Is there a flaw in another aspect of the water dragon?

Bump.

Water Dragon just PWS house brand. Usually same engine and pump as Pressure Pro

From what I’m seeing the water dragon comes standard with the UDOR pump and the pressure pro is an AR pump or 80$ upcharge for a general pump…

@Innocentbystander and some others really praise the UDOR. I’m wondering why so many choose the Pressure pro or if it’s another reason? (ie- warranties, customer service, brand loyalty)

Pressure pros are cheap to purchase. An udor pump is about a grand but they last about 5000 hours

I’m trying to decide because I’m close to pulling the trigger.
I don’t desperately need heat now so I’d like to get a 8gpm 3500psi unit and get a hot box later.
Right now I’m doing all flatwork but want to get into fleet or heavy equipment washing

Do they come with battery? I notice the Water Dragon does not. Maybe that’s the price difference

yeah, most do these days

Hell, I don’t want my pump to outlive me, lol. You youngsters can worry about how long your pump lasts.

The reason I’m trying really hard to learn this is I just did a job this weekend 2 guys
Friday 12hrs
Sat 14hrs
Sunday 8hrs
With my 2 4gpm machines 60+ hrs of surface cleaning. I need to upgrade. It was about 3500$ so before I blow it I want to invest in some time saving stuff.

Thinking the 8gpm and a big guy sc

My Water Dragon actually came with a Pressure Pro label on the belt guard! LOL

It did come with an Udor pump though, which is why I made the decision to get it.

Also, @mark44 mine (purchased in 2015) did come with a battery.

Steel or aluminum skid jesee?

Steel skid

Sounds like a winner. Does Paul make those or are they factory made

I think Paul makes them…not really sure.

One thing though, and I think it says a lot about their business:

I ordered mine at the end of the season in 2015 because they had a good same price on it. When I ordered they told me that all they had left was one demo unit with about 50 hours on it, and they offered an additional discount since it was “used”. That was fine with me so I placed the order. 3 days later I get a call saying that they had noticed a problem with the engine, and Honda wouldn’t be able to look at it for at least 2 weeks. I was fine with that, but they said “no, we’re shipping you a brand new one instead, we’ll have the parts for it in a couple of days, if you don’t mind waiting”. I told them that was fine and asked them what the new total was. Answer: “It’s not your fault the engine had trouble…the total is the same”. THAT’S the kind of company I like to do business with!
