UDOR TRIPLEX PUMPS - YES/NO
Pros & Cons please???
Yes.
Pros: great pumps
Cons:
Just got a quote today for a skid running the Honda iGX800 and UDOR 4000psi 7gpm pump. I wasn’t familiar with UDOR pumps and that’s why I posted this post to get some feedback.
Thanks for replying!
If your getting a igx800 why run 7gpm
From what I’ve heard so far, people like Udor because they last almost as long as the most durable pumps and are fairly cheap to replace when/if you do need to. I sell mostly General Pumps, but that’s the feedback I’ve heard about why people like Udor.
I run an Udor CKC 30/24 which is rated for 8GPM @ 3500PSI. I like it quite a bit.
Running the same pump, love it, and the support is great. I’ve called them directly a couple of times and talked to the engineer. Very high quality parts.
The question then is why would you need that psi? 3000-3500 is all most people need, and that’s the max. I would think you would want higher gpm?
Because it’s more compatible with the size of the buffer tank which I can fit on my vehicle.
The extra psi will come in handy for commercial flatwork.
I have yet to see any iGX pressure washer machines in the US. From what I hear, there is an issue with the way the engine revs being electronic. I could be wrong just what I read. Interesting engine.
Udor outlasts most any other pump. You can routinely run then dry with no adverse effects. I have several with over 5k hours. Vendors typically don’t like them because they don’t have to be rebuilt or replaced as often as low end, crap grade general pumps and the like.
Great pumps. Udor bolted to a Honda, you can’t really upgrade anymore, you’ve arrived.
Thanks everyone… UDOR it will be!
