Pressure Washing Leads

My brother owns a pressure washing company here in Dallas/Fort Worth. I maintain his web presence and work on the site SEO. No adwords, strictly SEO.

Anyway, I wanted to know what you pressure washers consider to be a good amount of monthly calls. He’s averaging about 1-3 calls a day so 30-40ish calls/mo. Is this slow or a pretty good amount of calls? Also is pressure washing seasonal?

Thank you.

3-4 calls a day is good to decent depending on where you are and how much you’re spending. With nothing but seo id say that isn’t bad. Pressure washing is definitely seasonal but what that means varies alot depending on where you’re located. I’m in coastal So Cal. We’re busier spring through fall but winter isnt dead. Now if your in Minnesota its a different story.

I think that’s good for SEO. You can probably optimize his page fore more of a variety of keywords to show up more which in turn can drive more calls. Also making sure his google listing is updated on a regular basis and has some good traffic in terms of reviews. Google favors businesses that are more relevent and have more recent reviews. Adwords can bring some more traffic, only way to find out what’s out there is to play ball!

How many is he booking? Of the 1-3.

I’m at 50 or so calls a day this time of year and don’t believe in, or invest in, advertising. Yearly average is probably 25 or 30. I tend to only answer the phone or return voicemails when I need filler work so they could all be salesmen for Fuller Brushes for all I know. The internet and facebook is not the way to build a business.

Around 1-2, many ppl call to price shop.

So is it mostly word of mouth for your business?

And wow 50 calls/day is crazy! Busy city?

Ibs has been doing this for longer than most here. I would disagree amd sat that I. This day amd age the internet is a great way to build your business.

I think a lot of people tell stories on here…especially when there business doesn’t show up on the first 5 pages of google for keywords in there area…

In KC, my map listing shows up first because I couldn’t be any more centrally located. I’m across town right now and my site shows up #2 for “pressure washing near me”. Even when it didn’t my map listing did.

I could be totally wrong but I think the map listing and reviews work better for me than my site anyway.

There probably isn’t a business in America that gets 50 leads per day. Innocent is always the exception.

Just a heads up. When you google yourself make sure to use incognito mode otherwise Google will bump up yout site because you visit it often.

About 10% of my work is in my home area of Raleigh. Word od mouth thru property managers keeps me booked

Welcome back @TimWash. I thought it was about time for you again lol. Play nice

You have 50 property managers calling you everyday? Holy smokes

Theres probably not enough property managers in N Carolina for 50 to call every day for more than a week. I’m assuming the pms refer him work.

I can’t tell thru words of you are being facetious or sincere. Send me you phone number and ill send you screen shots of my call log if that helps you. I don’t get many calls from property managers unless it is to verify dates or they are new customers wanting to schedule. Good regional mamagers will have their properties booked by the end of January for the coming year. I get a lot of calls from homeowners wanting residential because i clean for their hoa mangement company. I don’t know who all calls because I’m working every day and tend to let my voicemail back up. Feel free to call if you have questions. Tell me your area code and I’ll pick up when i see it. 919-524-3875

I’m not calling you a liar…I really don’t care. I get hasty sometimes…I don’t think you’d lie about something like phone calls…but that is a lot. Most guys on here on the high end average 5-10 inquires a day. Would love to have 50 a day but I couldn’t even handle 50 quotes a day lol.

That’s why i don’t answer the phone much lol

Shoot…at 50 a day I bet you could give home advisor, Thumbtack, etc… A run for thier money. I see potential for a new business.
