Pressure washing in the rain

Hey guys, I am new to the pressure washing business. It is supposed to rain the rest of the week…do you guys work when it’s raining or take the day off?

I work as long as it’s not super windy and there’s no lightning. I mean if it’s just stupid raining I wait for it to slow down but that’s it. It’s like having a helper…without having to pay!!!

I dont went it rains

Rain or shine here, unless lighting present. If its super windy or if its a hard down pour i will either wait or reschedule. Also a nice light rain is actually good to work in, it pre-wets everything, and helps aid in rinsing. We work with water already, so a little more water not going to hurt anything.

Ill work in a light rain but if its pouring no thanks. Once the wind and lightning pick up we pack up or wait it out.

I do rain fine like he said helps… no lighting of course…

Does the extra water ever bother your machines? Or are they covered when it rains?

I have an open trailer, have washed while it started raining…nothing happens to the machines

I like a little rain all the plants and bushes are already pre wet and we can go straight to washing

We do, unless there’s lightening…plus it saves $ and time showering ;>)

what about cleaning a roof?

Just have to make sure ur mix is strong enough or you’ll be putting on extra coats.
