Pressure washer surface cleaner

Hey guys, quick question. I’m new to the pressure washing business and have a northstar 4000 psi hot water and I just purchased a new surface cleaner. I was wondering is there was a high pressure valve that I could put on the end of my hose so I can switch between the wand and the surface cleaner without turning my washer off and on? Thanks!

You could set up your surface cleaner so your gun plugs into it, or add a high pressure ball valve. Pretty much any pressure washer vendor will have ball valves.

You do not want that one. That one will get you hurt

What surface cleaner do you have?

Be careful with the hoses, guys on here that use hot water say they will kill grass so route lines accordingly.

Don’t buy that. It’s junk. Get a 16inch eagle wash

too late :grimacing:

Take it back, or throw it away. I’ve bought a lot of stuff that turned out to be junk. Buying it doesn’t mean you have to use it

I wish I would have asked before a bought it. That’s what I get for not being patient. It will have to do for now. I’ll for sure put that eagles wash on my next to get items.

Put it up for sale on Marketplace, it’ll sell quick.

Whisper Wash surface cleaner all the way……I’d sell that before you use it if it were me. Much success though.

Other than hard on my ears when rinsing, what do I have to fear? Real question.

The lock ring vibrates off. The plastic handle comes off. Back in the day there was a thread on PT State about the ball dislodging and shooting out when folks were using them to rinse. Ball valves really have no place in what we do. They are designed to be open or closed only.
