I’m looking to replace the hose on my pressure washer and would love to hear what others here are using. My main priorities are flexibility, good kink resistance, enough PSI for regular driveway and house washing, and a hose that won’t leave marks on concrete. I’m currently considering:
I haven’t noticed much difference between “professional” hose brands, but I did buy the Simpson you have listed once in the middle of a job after I blew a hose. It was quicker to grab one at Lowe’s than drive across town for my spare. I wouldn’t wish that hose on my worst enemy.
I’ve used Suttner for the last couple of years, but I recently blew another hose and had a couple of Kobrajet hoses in storage, so I put one into service. So far, I like the Kobrajet much better than the Suttner. I’m just waiting to see how well it holds up over time.
Haha, fair question! I didn’t just randomly pick those two. I went through a New York Times review along with a couple of other comparisons and buyer guides, including Wirecutter and Consumer Reports, and narrowed things down based on the features and overall feedback.
After looking through those, I ended up finding these two and thought they were worth considering. I’m still comparing them, though, so I’m definitely open to hearing what others here would choose.
I’ve actually used the Flexzilla pressure washer hose and have had a pretty good experience with it. I find it flexible and easy to handle, and it doesn’t fight you as much when moving around the driveway or house. It’s also been efficient for my regular pressure-washing jobs and hasn’t been a hassle to work with.
I can’t speak much about the Simpson since I haven’t used it, but based on my experience, the Flexzilla has worked well for me.
