Pressure washer gun leaking

Hello:

First post and hoping someone can help. I have several pressure washer guns all leaking from the same piece inside the handle. It is the plastic piece that the high pressure hose attaches to on one end and has a spring in the other attaching to the trigger assembly (I have a picture below). I am told that I can not buy just this part and have to buy a whole new gun. I have over 20 I am looking to fix as cheap as possible to resell and want to make sure it is done correctly. I have tried every type of adhesive and have worked with a local adhesive company in the area with a 10:1 3M product that didn’t even hold. The guns are the universal electric guns from a 1700 PSI unit (gun pictured below) I am looking to either buy the part or if I have to whole guns but am looking for the best price possible. I am looking to buy anywhere from 20-40 depending on price. What are my best options? Does anyone know the manufacturer and contact information to possibly buy just the part?

Welcome sir. I have no clue.

professional equipment will last longer, electric power washers are not professional

Unfortunately from doing an online search on the universal guns for a 1700 psi electric pressure washer the main reason for negative reviews for all brands was premature failing of the trigger assembly resulting in leaking of water from the gun. On the gun you have pictured there should be a name or make of the manufacturer at the very top. It could be Comet, Giant, MtM, Suttner, or any other number of manufacturers. I can’t tell from the resolution of your included pic. But contact them for any info that might help you out. Usually finding parts for consumer grade products is next to impossible because they aren’t built to last and what you have wouldn’t even work for almost any consumer unit sold at a Home Improvement store because they are usually starting out at 2000 psi or above. If you’re planning on doing this for a living get rid of those guns and buy some professional grade equipment. Best of luck!

Thanks for the information Nathan. Not doing this for a living I just happened to pick up 20+ of these units all less than 2 months old store returns due to leaking handles. My cost into these is roughly $8.00 each and they run great and am planning on flipping them. With a decent handle I get $65.00 each so was looking for a good resource for parts at an inexpensive cost. I found a supplier that if I buy in bulk will sell me handles for $15.00 each, (was hoping to get that number closer to $10) so I may be going that route since it seems impossible to find the replacement part.

Why didn’t you join a junk salesman site?

I don’t see the picture, but it sounds like mine. Grey plastic piece cracked. If it is the one with the quick connect handle, they are produced by LAVOR. I found the guts for the gun on EBAY. Mines a Craftsman, but the gun is actually made by LAVOR and on the gun it says S09. Hope this helps.

i think you may be about 4 years too late on this post, lol
