Okay over the weekend I bought a Honda GX390 13.0 hp engine. I am now wondering how to hook up the pump. I know the direct drive triplex plunger pumps 4 bolts and good to go. But I am wondering how to set up a belt drived pump. No idea… can’t find on here, YouTube, or even google. Searched for maybe wrong key words. But the idea is I want to have chem tank h2o tank and mix tank on trailer.

You can get a gear reducer (gear drive) setup. That’s what I’m running on my 8.5 gpm about $350

You won’t get the 3500psi out of that motor at 5gpm but you don’t need it
Can I use my engine on this pump and not burn up the engine?
Won’t have any engine issues. Just will only get about 2500 psi out of it. Tireshark has a good thread on hear about it I believe.
