Pressure pro!

57.9 hours right at 20 housewashes and a doctors office. It’s just a bad batch of gas tanks.
This was @CFH haul

This was mine on 2nd cleanout.

Not exactly sure what that means but here’s the tank. One line runs from tank to fuel pump. The other runs to the breather in the carb.

@Innocentbystander I’m calling them now
They also go by “the pump outlet” online which I didn’t know but they are almost 6 hours away.
I’d love a new tank and engine.
Here is the # ‭+1 (770) 532-4442‬ North Georgia Airless, pump outlet. The problem is I don’t have a rep vendor within 3 hours of the panhandle.

Mine came back again but was similar to your 2nd haul. I did not clean the tank out again (just a real pain having to unplumb (I just made that word up), move buffer tank, move skid just to get to where I can take tank off. I just change my fuel filter and kept going. Hasn’t come back since but I now keep several fuel filters on my truck just in case.

Wow doubted the vendor and one phone call. I’ll have a new tank this weekend.

Did you get a free upgrade to XLPE from the HDPE hahaha

They offered me a free tank, but I didn’t take it. Again, it is a major PITA to get my tank off. I just figured I cleaned it all out. I am now coming up on a year and it only came back once.

I am really surprised they are still using the same tanks. It would seem that would be a huge mess for them having to deal with everyone who bought a machine having this same problem.

@CFH It’s not. They’ve gone to Black XLPE with red cap like @dperez is talking about.
I’m in the same boat ,you see it’s pinned against the rail on mine. I have a fabricator who’s a buddy and has a forklift but he’s booked solid right now. Otherwise it would be facing the front off the pallet and bolted to the trailer.

Well there you go! XLPE is no joke they turn tanks into beasts. Some of my oldest tanks are over 30 years old. They are pricey but well worth it. The last 5 tanks I picked up from Poly Processing in Monroe Louisiana were almost $4,600

I’m somewhat handicapable when it comes to machines. This “screen” is non existent.
So guess I should start breaking down carb, jets, solenoid fuel pump.

Filters good.

Tearing down and rebuilding this weekend. Adding an udor 5.5
Have to rebuild Russ valve.
Skids going to Dothan so Pressure pro can put a new engine in.
carb for generator busy weekend

How many hours on it ?

A whopping 57hrs. The service center in mobile is not authorized to work on small engines. Ergo they will be slapping a new one on there,l. It’s 4 bolts I’ll show them how to do it myself.
But I can’t get an appointment til Tuesday and cant get gas can off to do it myself.

So is the honda screwed? @mgcmike. And why don’t you get 2 buddies to rock that thing over and crib it ,so you can get to the bolts holding the fuel tank on from underneath?

Glad to hear they’re taking care of it.

When I need to lift or unload heavy stuff I back under a tree with a big branch and use a come a long or chain fall. As Hotshot said you could lean it to the side and use some cribbing. Might be even easier to back up to the side of the trailer and use a come a long from the hitch to tilt it over some. If you also use one from the other side at the same time you can darn near lay it on its side without it tipping over.

Then again, they should take care of it all without you having to do a thing.

Lol…

I got a tech that left a bad taste in my mouth today… so here is where we’re at… The closest authorized service center is pressure products in mobile AL 1hr 44 minutes, only one within 250 miles, HOWEVER they do NO small engine repair work. So I will drop off in Mobile and then they will take it to Honda. This is what I KNOW… Honda has 4hrs to either fix it or drop a new engine in it. At this point I’m not settling for anything less. They can clean the lines but if carb or fuel pump needs to be replaced they can’t do it. :exploding_head:

I have a 400 something unit apt complex just around the corner.

Besides my wife my nearest friend is 3 and a half hours away. But he’s coming into fish tonight. I might bribe them with some liquid courage lol. I left my all my buddies in MS

Please don’t think I’m trying to stomp you while you’re down, but this is the reason I stress to buy commercial grade equipment from a real vendor. Pressure Pro is one step above home Depot. If you can figure out if it’s worthwhile to fly here, drive it there and back I’ll let you borrow a truck.

Lesson learned next time I’ll buy the Honda engine myself and throw an udor with a flow actuated unloader. I appreciate the offer I’ll let you know.
