Predator engines. Basically free

For those of you who are in the predator engine fan club this was in my email this morning.

Not free, but legitimately half the cost of a Honda GX 690… my mind is boggled.

Don’t forget though, you’re taking a gamble with those things. How much is not having down time worth? Some of those Predators seem great, others are junk, and, from what I’ve read over the years, it sounds like it’s purely luck of the draw. My opinion: Spend the extra money for quality and sleep well at night.

My 93 Honda Accord still runs like off the show room floor. I like me a Honda

You and I agree… I wouldn’t spend your money on one of them…

But some people love them. Just trying to help someone save a hundred bucks. Or 700 bucks if you’re deadest on not buying a Honda.

Toyota trucks, Milwaukee power tools, and Honda small engines… it’d probably take a natural disaster to cut off the entire supply of one of these before I’d consider anything else first.

I have throw away thousands of socks. Up until about 3 years ago I wore socks once then threw them away. Probably a compulsive thing no doubt but I want a tight fitting sock. Drove my wife insane. She kept donating my socks or trying to find uses for them. She found me some Nike dry fit socks that are formed for the left and right foot. love em. That’s all I wear now. I toss them when they get a little unsnug but they probably last a month or more.

Wool socks are an acquired taste. For years I wore no socks when I framed, just sneakers. I used to do a little bit of distance hiking and wool socks were the big deal. So I tried them for everyday and I love them, feet stay dry and they last a long time I have some pairs that are 10 years old.

I would tell you about the incredible benefits of Exioffico underwear as well, but I fear this thread could take a weird turn.

I got that same coupon. Thinking about buying one just a a quick replacement.

After years of contact with SH these work best for me…

Did you steal those from a lobster?

IBS, I hate baggy socks too. You might want to try Carhart’s Force socks. They are snug and stay that way. I have some that are a year old and they are still as snug as the day I bought them. I get them on Amazon or Tractor Supply.

Ummm. No. Even if people can’t see them that is just to much of a fashion statement

I actually wear them washing with no boots.

I get better grip on the ladders that way.

I’ve got tears in my eyes laughing so hard.
