Power washing machine

You can get one with the hubs already on it and for pretty cheap online. It doesn’t have to be done right away but if you find yourself pulling it around all the time you will want to consider it. I pull mine 40k miles a year so stuff wears out quick.

Dang!

They make 10ft tandem trailers
If i where to do it again i would have started with the tandem.

Oh, wow. No I’d be under 10,000 miles a yea or less. We do a lot of window cleaning and this is an add on. Eventually if it picks up may need to upgrade. This is a starter rig.

My trailer stays behind my truck. I rarely take days off from March through Christmas. If feels awkward not having it up there when I do take it off.

Yeah, I figured you must be pretty busy. Just seems like a lot of miles to drive each day. I’m in a rural market, and very rarely clock more than 75 miles in a day. I would get really tired of averaging well over 100 miles every day.

Anyhow, it puts things in perspective a bit when I hear how much some guys are making in this business. A lot of you guys work way more, and way harder, than I do :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I do a lot of my estimates for new customers in person so that adds a lot of driving to. When they see my truck and equipment it helps me sell the job even when I’m more expensive. It’s definitely worth it.

It absolutely does. Investing in professional equipment does more than make your job easier if it’s set up and organized it helps sell jobs. I learned that years ago when I would lose jobs to other guys that I knew were more expensive but they had the trailers that looked really good. First impressions really do make a difference.
