Power Drill & Circular Saw suggestions

I hope I never care about plowing snow.

I’ll get you over here someday and you’ll be hooked!

I’ve had just about all of them, and none of them seem to be what they used to be. Last drill/driver set I bought was Porter Cable (about the only one I hadn’t tried) and after a couple of years I’ve been impressed. They have held up nicely compared to the others lately. Now my dewalt from 20 years ago was great, but the new stuff I’m not impressed with.

I’ve had good luck with dewalt. I especially like the 20 volt band saw.

Ha ha Chris … Why ruin a good Toyota by hanging a plow off the front end. Use a less sophisticated vehicle that you dont really care about, maybe even a tractor or loader lol.
What do I know anyways closest I have been to snow was a train ride through Switzerland in summer.

We run loaders, skid steers, backhoes and trucks. Make a trip to the US for a few weeks next January and I’ll put you in a truck :joy:

Free labor to all who want to learn a craft!

BUY DEWALT! at least American labor puts the Chinese parts together! Milwaukee is made in China with China parts!! :joy::joy:. Milwaukee does sell some good stuff no doubt. I’ve just been a dewalt guy since my teens. Basically you just pic a color, yellow, red, blue, green, and stick with it, because soon you will have more $$$$ in batteries than the tools! I will say the dewalt brushless is beyond unbelievable. I worked all weekend at the cabin building an outhouse, and finishing up some cedar wainscot, and one 5ah battery lasted all weekend on the 7 1/4 Circ saw, and only two 2ah batteries in the impact.

My 1/2" impact would break big truck lug nuts loose. it held its own with the tool truck air impacts. I think it’s rated at 1300 ft lbs

Hanging Christmas lights and plowing snow are the 2 things i’ll be doing on repeat in purgatory and i’ll be getting paid in the form of roasted red peppers (my least favorite food of all time). You and @SchertzServicesLLC are both living my nightmare.

DeWalt may be assembled with Chinese parts, but Milwaukee have Taiwanese parts. The manufacturing standards are vastly different.

I don’t mind buying American if it’s built better. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case for 30 years. I’d buy Makita before DeWalt. I don’t want any part of anything black & decker owns except maybe Lenox.

I’m not particularly a fan of Christmas lights either, but it’s fast and the money is bonkers.
