Post-Construction siding/roof cleans

Hi! I am looking for some advice on a couple of post-construction jobs coming up some with anodized aluminum frames and a good amount of stained wood, I find there’s very little info/posts about it out there on post-construction siding/roof cleans. I have experience with removing organics but not much dealing with light/medium post-construction dust. I did one project with just regular Dawn but had to brush quite a bit to achieve good results, and with the sheer height of the last house it became quite difficult/time consuming.

I’m wondering what do you guys usually use that reduces brushing effort and is safe? And what issues/horror stories have you guys encountered with it? I saw a post mentioning HD Britenol alone works well. I cannot use Cleansol BC as the frames are black anodized aluminum and it will discolour them. I tested it quickly and it did just that. I read HD Britenol is okay for unpainted metals and stained wood (at a low concentration of course). This one specific project does has very light soil but other possible potential future jobs I looked at are much worse. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can only attach one photo, most of the houses are very similar modern type homes in the PNW (mostly painted wood sidings, black painted and anodized frames, stained wood soffits, some bare aluminum/metals). Thanks!

Awesome thanks!

Nice looking house. It should let you post another pic now. Would like to see more of it. This is a tough one. You can use something like Simple Green. What SW rec. Does ok with light mildew, but is relatively expensive. you can DS it, but at a pretty high concentration of mix. But won’t harm anything. Need to set some expectations with your builders. You can get the light dust and dirt off, downstreaming it.but I doubt they’re paying you enough to hand scrub. Also, you may want to look into a product called Limoene - Limonene – ENVIROSPEC It cleans great and is a non bleach cleaner. You can get a 5 gal sample pack. Call them and talk to them. They may be able to help you. It cleans great and they ship it dry, you just have to mix it up. Saves shipping water.

If you personally had to choose one what would it be that’s very safe on everything I listed? I looked up Limonene but it’s apparently not safe on some paints and plastics and I worry about stained wood. The dust is also quite light. Here are some more photos. Thanks!

You aren’t trying to fix those wand marks on the siding someone put there are you? Don’t know how you would blend that in and match the other sides.
