Got a call today from a local porta john rental company looking for weekly service. Only washing the inside and outside ( they will already be pumped out. 50-100 units a week plus 4 trucks, What did you charge per? or how much would you charge per? I’m thinking about $8 per. I’m not worried about the shitty part of the job, as it wont be me doing the labor lol

I can’t see them paying that price in my opinion. Not to seem like a downer! Car dealerships pay guys like us $2.50 a car. I would say bid it at $4 per and no clue on the trucks… Still good money if you are doing 100 of them a week!
Maybe I’m too low? Never bid a shitter!

I though the poop sucker had its own spray gun… I swear I seen them rinsing it out once.
I think they do! It’s a disinfectant that’s horribly strong smelling!

haha if it was me doing the work id be passing. I will send one of my trucks to do it…I think lowest I could go to still meet hourly bottom line would be $5.50 per and do 20 an hour = $110 hourly

I thought the same, going to go check them out Friday. He said they just pump them… these are ones that came back from the weekend… so not a field clean. Maybe their is a difference…idk im not in the shit business lol

5 bucks a crapper 20 a truck? 350 min charge weekly. Renegotioate after 6 months. I’m betting you could get it down to a science and bang it out in 2 hours. 1400 bucks a month for 8 hours of Labor. If you don’t throw some awesome language in the contact your “pissing” away a “golden” opportunity. I’m thinking something along the lines of a “no shit” clause.

this truck would be 4… it would be more of the obstacle course slowing him down then anything else. in an out in an out and around and around… im getting dizzy just thinking about it
So while on the subject!
The funniest thing you can do to someone in a porta John is find a large rock just small enough to fit into the vent tube. Drop that thing in while their in there and run like hell!

Would it be easier to have them all line up, open all the doors.
Spray all the insides, the go back to the front and rinse.
Next spray all the outsides, and then rinse
Im betting you can get a system down pretty good.
Make sure to have your guy wear a face shield for this one.
