Pool area cleaning help

I was cleaning this guys paver drive way today and he asked me to do the pool deck while I was there. It did not look like any pavers ive cleaned.

So I noticed there were crevices or textured top in the stone and I thought my surface cleaner would peel some of the stone work up. Any ideas on how to clean this?

What type of chemicals does he use in the pool

That’s a nice pool area. Depending on what he uses to treat his pool, this may be one instance where you will want to use water only. Holler back when you know what he uses.

He does not know, he pays people to clean it. I was just planning on surface cleaning it but im not sure how much psi it can take. He did say the home was about 30 years old.

Have fun.

Stick a straw in there. Its either SH or salt … Or call the pool dude who’s cleaning it.

You gotta know before you start. If you cant figure it out walk away it’s not worth it

Will do. Ill swing by there later today. My guess would be SH tho

Yeah, guessing with an 80k pool is not a great idea.

Thats why I came on the forms to ask. It was a little out of my element and did not need to have an insurance call.

You can do it with hot water low pressure and a brush. Pool decks are a pain make sure you dont get dirty water in the pool

I dont even know how to respond to that lol

Stick around long enough you will

How low of pressure are we talking about here?

Looks like limestone to me. God knows we have enough of it here in KY.

That is Ivory Travertine, not a limestone. I am also a stone salesman. This can be cleaned with sh and low pressure. Do not use any acids on this stone, it will etch it. Just pretreat and let the chemicals do the hard work.

Travertine is a form of limestone.

How low of pressure?

Thanks for all the responses.
