Hahaha. When I saw that, I was like, “Come again?!? Oh. It’s gotta be the drugs…”
Hope you feel better soon, William

Lol…IBS surprised us all with that comment.
Forgive me. Heavily medicated. Watching the office. One crew is doing houses today and have already washed 2 wrong houses due to my texts to them with mixed up numerous. I think I’m on the mend now. I don’t do well with painkillers.
This has turned into an awesome thread!! Needed me a good laugh today Thank u sir
When I had surgery to cut out my wisdom teeth what I said when I came out of surgery almost caused me and my wife a divorce!! And I didn’t even remember saying anything lol. So last yr when I had my kidney stones crushed I made her stay in the waiting room till I was about ready to be discharged. And I sobered up!! It is funny now but at the time ole my goodness
This will probably be my new philosophy of hoses from here on in. It is a shocker when the old hose blows up.
The weight isn’t that much different. It’s not like pulling 1/2 hose or anything
One thing is for sure Harold is this stuff is not likely to blow a hole on you. My old 5000psi rated hose has half the rubber worn off but doesn’t seem to mind. I guess the extra weight is just one of those necessary things.
That is true. I went from 18 lbs per hundred foot to 25 lbs per hundred. A 38% increase for another 200% safety factor is sure worth it.
Just holding it and looking at it, I can’t imagine it will be going out anytime soon. Feels like a tank next to the 1 wire Suttner
1 wire doesn’t last as long but it is much easier dragging around buildings and up and down breezeways
Got one reel with two wire 6000 psi gray nonmarking 300 ft . Can pull off all 300 ft and it don’t feel like I am going to soft spot the hose. Got another reel with 275 ft of 1 wire Goodyear Neptune. Only pull out half and go back to reel to pull out the rest or it feels like the hose will pull into. On grated floors with the little spikes in Mills only use the 2 wire holds up good. Grated floors with smooth finish use the 1 wire.
I keep 100ft of 1 wire on the truck just for that reason. So much easier to pull up and around stair well for sure
What do you think about having a 1/2” whip line from machine to reel? I read somewhere that it’s good for 8+gpm. Think it’s necessary? I haven’t bought the whip line yet because I’m waiting on the trailer to determine the length. 3/8 or 1/2
