Pole barn house

Overrated, and yea expensive unless with a fairly big group.

Food has been good in my few experiences there though.

Give it a year. The one in OKC was that way when it first opened. Nowadays you could probably rent half of a level on any given day with no issues

9am-12 $25 a hour 12-5pm $35 a hour and 5pm- close it is $45 a hour.

Yeah but even at $45 an hour it’s pretty cheap when you go with a group. We usually go in a group of 4 guys and the girls tag along. Comes out to like $10 an hour per guy

Id like to see that. Our pit cleaners come out looking like they swam in the oil based mud

And the roughnecks are just as bad

LOL José was the best of the best. He worked for the company for years and then just up and disappeared one day. I worked there another year or so after he left and we never heard anything from him. He never even picked up his final check. We were also pretty anal about using the hydro trucks to suck up as much as possible without having to send guys down.

The man builds bridges and surveys land. Yes it is beautiful. Sitting on a bunch of land and the house it way off the road. Was about a 3/4 mile gravel drive through the woods.

Huge fiasco here in Louisville. The old Sears store at an upscale mall closed and they’re planning to put one there in it’s place. Problem is the residents right behind will get blasted with bright lights all night and they’re fighting back.

Hired a log cabin restoration guy to clean and seal (chinking) our remote cabin He used chemicals from a company called Permachink. Spoke very highly of the company and their products. Never used them personally but they did a great job cleaning our cabin. Might be worth a look for the pole barn. Beautiful

Just did 2 sides of the house for $650 coming back to do the last 2 for $650 and then will likely do the inside too. I did a test spot on those strap and tire marks with a little sodium hydroxide in my mix and they came of with alittle brushing.

HHe showed me the cleaning instructions that came with his house kit it called for TSP and bleach. I told him i do not use TSP that its pretty bad stuff and the TSP sold now a days is pretty much crap anyways.

Looks great @Grizz. What was your process? Any furring?

Rough cut pine so its already furry so i wasnt concerned that much. Im honestly not to sure on my exact SH % i believe it was a 2-3% i started out lower but it wasn’t doing that great on the rough cut.
If you ever wash rough cut wood dont use much surfactant i had snotmanade in mine from a previous job and it took forever to fully rinse.

After rinsing i followed up with OX at 8oz per gallon and rinsed again really well. I didnt use pressure on thus one.

I love it man. This was a cool customer and love love doing work for people like him. Fed me a pork loin sandwich out own his wood bench and even brought out the 45 colt, 44 magnum black hawk and Henry .44 with the old style flip up scope for me to shoot.

Oh ya remember the picture of my trailer jack ?

He fixed it for me. We ran a chain from 2 trees and i pulled forward and bent it back into position. I knocked $50 of the price but he refused and tried to pay me $50 more :joy::joy::joy:. I refused and made him pay me $600 instead of my original $650. Im going to bring him some rabbit meat as soon as my wifes rabbits are 8 weeks old.

Reading her comment made me think that sending clients before and after pics of their properties washed could help marketing, maybe somebody already does this, but I think they really like to show their friends/relatives how they improved the look of whatever they cleaned, picture is worth 1000 words right? Obviously if they like what they see they will ask for the Company name and number and they will know who they call if they need that service ever.

I usaully do are i show it to them before i ask for a review but some people do not want others to see how dirty they let thier house get before having it cleaned. I had one lady that i asked to swing back by to get a after picture of her roof and concrete and she didn’t mind but she did not want me to take a full picture of her house or mention her name in anyway with the picture. She also didn’t want to leave me a review
She was very satisfied with my wotk though.

I used to send before pictures with my quotes and after pictures with my invoices. I need to get back to doing that.
