Plumbing to an IBC Tote

@Sharpe I remember you posting an IBC tote with a rubber sleeve and can’t remember what the end of the discussion is, but this is how you can thread pvc right to an IBC if you don’t want to cam lock it.

The threaded/concave portion of an IBC tote valve where you can thread on or camlock on are called a “buttress”. (Insert childish laughter here)

I haven’t seen anyone mention that in my time here, but here’s the standard fitting for adding an NPT coupling.

Yeah the sleeve is holding up for now but I have a few backup solutions for when it starts to leak. I’m going to add this to the list! Thanks😎

Here is how I have mine plumbed. I actually had to change out my IBC tote this winter and the camlock made it super easy.

I like the rubber floor.

I actually have an IBC tote that needs a 2’ 1/8” coupler so I have to use that rubber boot since no one sells that couple in the US that I have found.

If the rubber boot works it works.

I like the floor too, where’d you get?

It’s called G-floor. It’s been great. It has handled sh, oil, gas, and other chem. spills without an issue. I got it at Wallyworld .com. Robot or human?
