(Picture) Anyone know how to remove staining on stucco from water runoff?

I tried chlorine (obviously) and gutter grenade (which I’ve had varying results with on other, similar projects) but nothing is touching this stuff. Any ideas?

If it’s metallic from the rails or drip edge try oxalic. If it’s mildew or algae from the run off use roof mix.

Could be possible that it’s actually taken some of the paint with it over the years ( the water)

I have a unique situation where a customer has a home that is only 3 years old, and at the front archway, he has brass flashing that wraps over the smooth stucco. Underneath it, it has turned green, almost like regular growth would look, but this side gets more sun than the left and right sides and both of those sides don’t have any of it. I wonder if it is from the brass flashing, and somehow with the sun beating on it, it heated it up to where it leaked some kind of chemical out of it to create these green marks?

I was going to start by using 1000 psi and heat to see if it will do anything. Then treat it with a 2% mix of SH (I doubt that will work because it is not growth I don’t think) My final thought was to try some F9 BARC on it. I am not a specialist in metals and I don’t really know what kind of stuff happens to painted surfaces around it. Any ideas of what this is and how to remove it would be appreciated.

I like OneRestore for odd stains…. Seems to be my go to for stains. I use it straight.

The green marks are probably from the copper roof oxidation (Statue of Liberty!) and Efflo is made for that. I’ve used it a few times.

Awesome, thank you both! I have both Efflo and one restore, I think they are pretty similar, but I’m pretty sure there are some differences also. I’ll try one then the other if I have no results, and if I get the job will update afterwards.

I believe f9 Efflo is stronger if I remember right…I use OneRestore straight, don’t think Efflo you would but maybe not….
