I see some good apps just dont lnow if one is better than other

Quote forms this may be the answer u seek

Thanks inwasntrying to search for something with no success

I found templates online. There are tons of them. I use Customer Factor now.

Gotta love my QuickBooks! You can attach files like insurance and w-9 or photos of the estimate. It’s emailed and let’s you know when the customer viewed it. They can accept it and sign it and it’s considered a contractual agreement for services.

Do yourself a favor and just pay for QuickBooks online. I have the app on my phone and iPad. My iPad is connected to my Verizon Acct so I always have internet. I hold it and walk with it on my estimate taking pictures. Then I build the estimate and attach pictures. I also have the large screen to show customers pictures I took of problem areas or damage. I think you can get the basic package for less than $20 a month. I pay $45 month but I have payroll on mine. There are tons of YouTube videos and it’s really simple. You can send an invoice or estimate while in the John and still have spare time to get on this forum…

If you have a Costco membership Quickbooks Online is discounted close to 50% if I remember correctly. I think I just paid $24 for this month.

Joist is free and pretty darn good for a free app that you can even use on the spot with your phone

Did not know that! They also run specials where it’s %50 off pretty often.

I sent 3 payroll checks, 1 to myself, for like $14 or $15 in fees. It’s awesome. I think that promo has long since past and they’ll probably charge me $1000 retroactively… Haha

I do not give printed estimates to anyone, only commercial.
If you a homeowner shopping around … then shop around.
I give invoices once job is finished.

I feel the opposite. If my competition is willing to put it in writing then so am I. I don’t mind shopping around. I run flat rate prices for residential though.
