Hi guys. I need a ball valve. The one i am using now i can barely open and close under pressure. I also need a swivel rated for more than 4000psi. I could also use some advice on pipe fittings. I have a nipple that i have to replace every 20 hours or so. I have tried 304, 316, steel, and brass with no luck. Parts for my machine just seem to be hard to find. Btw, i shoulda listened to the advice about hose reels i got from here. I blew out the Northern Tool reel in 15 min. Lesson learned and ordered a Coxreel.
If you y ordered a cox you didn’t learn anything. Take your machine to some qualified to work on it before you hurt yourself or others
Not what i expected. You evaluated my level of competence based on a couple of questions?
Yes…
Its almost like he made this post for u @Innocentbystander
I came here for help and got judgement and insult. I will figure it out myself. Its science but it aint rocket science. Yall play amongst yourselves and have a nice day.
Cancel your coxreel order its junk. It will be crushed from pressure. Why 5000 psi?
I purchased this trailer used about a year ago and it has a general 5000psi 5gpm pump with a gx620. I chose the cox based on reading this forum. Coxreels HP1125-4-200 - MROSupply.com.

Welcome to the forum, plenty of folks with great info
Go with a Hannay reel. You wont be disappointed
Ok. Cox is out. The fitting im having trouble with is the 3/8 close nipple between the pump and unloader. About every 3rd job it develops a hairline crack and starts to spray. Not sure if its pressure or vibration.
Tried a couple of different ball valves and they quickly become very difficult to open and close under pressure.
Swivel. Does anyone know of a swivel that will take 5000psi?
Remote mount the unloader with a whip line and you won’t break fittings. No idea about the ball valve
Good idea! Didnt think about that. Thanks.
Have you ever needed all 5k psi?
Sorry i dont have anything for ya on the fittings.
It’s ok. He doesn’t have 5k at 5 gpm. the GX620 is only 18 hp.
I get 4500 running and it unloads at 5000. When i called pressurepro they told me it was 5000 and 5.5 but i have never checked the flow. I try to buy parts based on the 5000.
Pressure pro lies to make sales. Get an unloader block, set for max gpm, regardless of pressure. Your nipples are cracking because of vibration. Unloaders don’t belong I the pump
Any suggestions on an unloader block?
