Oxidation on trex?

Have any of you guys ever tried to deal with what seems to be oxidation on trex boarding?
My thinking is that its similar to vinyl so to maybe try some products used on vinyl oxidation removal, degreasers or maybe even a gutter grenade type product… obviously I’d do some test spots to see if itd change colors

I’ve seen the same thing on the same color composite deck. The customer said she was trying to get it replaced by the manufacturer because it oxidized in less than a year. She said it’s a defect in manufacturing process according to her research. It was almost 2 years from install and she was still dealing with the manufacturer.

Just checked and she said it came with the house most likely 10+ years so I’m sure the manufacturer won’t have anything to do with it

Tried gutter grenade and zep purple on the deck, neither caused an issue for the color but neither removed the oxidation either. With brushing it barely made it lighter than it was originally

Need to show some pics. We’re guessing otherwise

Here’s another picture showing the white haze and a part of deck that was covered. I didn’t take a picture after because it didn’t really do anything and I already finished the rest of the job just didnt do the deck so no big deal if no one knows

That looks great. I’ve seen worse and in the exact same color deck. Doesn’t help you though.
