Ox-Knox by SESW

Anyone try Ox-Knox by Southeast Softwash? It seems like a relatively new product from them. I’ve been reading older posts (4+ years ago) about people brushing on cleaners to remove oxidation and it being very labor intensive. Saw Coty demo it. Spray, dwell, rinse. Seems like an easy upsell?

Thanks for your time and guidance.

What is Ox-Knox? Did you read the SDS or rely on marketing alone?

Here is what they actually state (bolding done by me): it is essential to exercise caution and adhere to the following advisory: prolonged exposure or an excessively concentrated mixture of Ox-Knox may result in paint removal. Should you desire to preserve the existing paint, we advise carefully determining the appropriate ratio or alternatively refraining from using the product altogether.

Please be aware that any misuse of this product, including unintended paint removal or any other consequences, falls outside our responsibility. We emphasize the importance of responsible handling and understanding the inherent risks associated with the usage of Ox Knox.

…and the training module for the chem is $40 bucks.

There are lots of products on the market for oxidation removal. Pick the one that suits you best. Eaco Chem has a training manual you can get for free with their products. I’d link it for you but their site is down right now. I am not saying their products are the best, I’ve had my own issues with Cleansol BC not cutting it.

Wait, they charge for instructions on how to use it?
Unless it’s like F9 that has like a billion uses, that’s just silly.

It’s just the way of the YouTube pressure washing charlatans.

Darn my morality.

Not instructions, a training video. More power to these guys. I just like the marketing behind it.

I gotta come up with a PW item I can market. Gotta be easier than doing decks.

Good news for you. I have a training video on how to brainstorm ideas and then make training videos for them.

but wait, there’s more. If you order right now I’m going to throw in a sham wow for just the cost of shipping. :stuck_out_tongue:

What would it cost to upgrade to the slap chop from the sham wow?

Looks like demon magic. No deal. Slice your fingertips off with a mandolin like the rest of us. :joy:

Not sure how I feel about it.

But as long as they provide instructions on their website or on the bottle and I don’t have to pay to watch the vid, I’m good with that.

I like the SESW guy. It’s been years since I watched their vids though. I didn’t even know they had their own line of products but makes sense.
