Orange staining

Man I thought you were coming down south. I’ve only got a few days left in Sarasota then it’s back to local stuff for a while.

We were planning on coming down last week, but because of weather I’m behind so we were kind of on the fence about coming. I was going to fly in on Monday nite and come back Friday. I talked with Lori a few days before to get a rec about a place to stay Monday nite, then I was going by their new place Tues and come on down to Bradenton that afternoon. She said it was nuts down there everywhere because of Spring breaks, so we just decided I’d work a couple more days and we just went down to coast here for a couple of days. Still wanting to come, to scope around down in that area. See if @BTBPropertyService leaving any room in the market, lol. But who knows when.

Yah I have to agree it’s pretty congested around here at the moment. Most hotel rates will be doubled . I didn’t feel like driving back from Sarasota late last week so I tried to get a room and couldn’t. Even super 8 was almost full and wanted $199 a night. We stay at that hotel every year for work for $69 . I just drove back

Lol come on down man! Plenty of work to go around and not enough quality washers to keep up. They just keep building down here, I’m ready for all these commercial places to get done so we can start bidding on them. I did a bid on a commercial roof cleaning and they said they could only find one other local guy with the proper insurance. Plus I am very blessed to work in paradise every day. I love the homes on the water, it makes me want to keep a fishing pole on the trailer!

I’d never get my wife to move down there year round, I’m just trying to convince her to for 6 months a year. If I ever did move down there, you sure wouldn’t have to worry about me being the lowball guy. Can’t believe some of the prices I hear. I might have too much cultural shock price wise, lol. I’d probably be better off just coming to work for you about 3 days/week. Time I get down there you’ll probably have a fleet .

That makes a lot of sense. And yes major take always. Although the customer is happy, I’m not. I didn’t spot those paterna in the concrete before hand. I also from now on and going to specify before hand that I am doing the curbs. Bottom line once I’m gone it’s my name that is on the work and even if the homeowner is happy I am not mad someone else looking may think o didn’t do a good job.

Sounds like it’s time to starting looking at a condo! So many people have condos they rent out using Air bnb while they aren’t here and probably make money on it lol! Man if you moved down here I’d pay you whatever you asked for. Hard to come by good help! Price differences aren’t as bad once you get established but definitely not as high as the guys up north with snow. Down here it’s mainly about volume. Like @florida_condo_cleani has said before I rather have slightly lower prices, be efficient, and keep the schedule booked rather than a couple pricey jobs here and there. Keep the customers happy and you’ll be fine. My goal is to get larger than Gorilla Kleen, look them up. Probably have a fleet of ten trucks. They’re doing something right
