I have said I would report when I determined the causes for discrepancies among those involved in the Orange County situation (i.e., Robert Hinderliter and the two OC officials). I interviewed Richard Boon this morning and with his approval, am releasing a statement which I have posted on our website.

I want to thank Allison Hester for reporting with as much factual information as she can find and to include as much details as possible. I have known her for several years and have the upmost respect for her. I want her to and believe with all my heart that she is doing what she know to be the right and honorable thing, again Thank You Allison.
The recent activities that took place in Orange County California were not know by me or my staff at PowerWash.com. Roberts work is independent to myself and PowerWash.com and he has not worked for the company for a while.
In my humble opinion there doesn’t need to be much, if any more, work put forth as it pertains to environmental concerns for the power washing industry. I believe that there is plenty of technology, techniques, information and BMP’s available today from multiple sources that it does not require myself or PowerWash.com to be actively involved in pursuing regulatory authorities. I have shared my beliefs with Robert on several occasions. I cannot control or force Robert to do anything. All I can do is offer my insight and hope that he takes it into consideration.
On a personal note, I love my father dearly and I have a natural tendency to want to defend him. It is difficult to sit by and watch others make comments that I know to be misrepresentation and characterization that are completely false. I will leave it at that.
Even though I am a pressure washing supplier, I am contractor first (since 1985) and that is where my heart is and always will be. I want to see my colleges be successful and I will do what I can to help. With that being said I will continue to run my business in a manner that best suits my customers and their needs.
I try my best to tread lightly when posting on issue that involving environmental concerns because I am fully aware that there are those that are looking to attack my words the second I make any statement. My comments get misrepresented and my words are twisted to mean something else. Even though this happens I will continue to try and answer questions with the hopes that it will help others.
