Opinions on F9 and Cookbook?

I see it being promoted on a Facebook group. Is F9 and the cookbook as good as they are saying? Alternatives you would consider? Thanks!

They’re both good. The cookbook I really like, though I kind of resent having to pay for a booklet that tells you all the ways you can spend money on vendor’s product. But I have it and is a good resource if you do that type of work.

I’ve been researching cookbooks the past couple of days and ran across F9’s multiple times. I assumed it was a way for them to sell their products only, glad to confirm this.

Are there any other cookbooks out there that you would recommend?

I thought about scouring through the forum here and try to compile all the recipes in one central location.

Newbie here , just got an awesome piece of mail today !! It’s full of so much knowledge. It will definitely help you in this business… ! Nothing like an up sale.

I haven’t been too impressed with BARC yet, tried it on a couple jobs.

I am definitely open to learning as much as I can. If I can help some customers with it, I will be a happy camper…

I have used BARC several times with great results. Even got a good review because I got some white run off stains off brick from a porch column that no else could get off.

I recommend the cookbook as a great resource for stain removal.

Instead of the book, I recommend the app. It’s only $30 and has the same exact pages inside that book.

Also, f9 has done wonders. What do you use instead for rust @dcbrock? Muriatic ?

Do you have any pictures of the stains you were dealing with? There are different steps depending on how bad the rust is. You have to let it dry between applications. That’s when the rust disappears. Leaf blowers work great for speeding up dry time. Sometimes agitation is required.

I’m not a fan of the app. Sure, the price is better, but I think it’s a pain trying to find what you’re looking for. The book is so much easier.

What did you use it on @dcbrock? What was your process?

I have the book and all the products. Having to run 2 businesses I don’t have time to fart around with products that may or may not work. When I have rust I go straight to barc, when I have efflorescence I go straight to efflo. Craig is been very helpful, The book is laminated and good for a business spaying water with everything wet all the time. I have restored stucco and other stuff with surprisingly good results. All you Gotta do is get a hand sprayer to make it last a long time. You don’t need to downstream it or run it through a soft Wash Pump or even a backpack sprayer, just get those little hand sprayers, mix it to the right dilution, use it on the small areas you have to use it on and blow the competition out of the water.
