OK, a little off topic...not way off topic

I had a listing interview Sunday for a couple that needed to sell their house. I spent a long time with them going over things, answering questions, etc. As we were wrapping up, they told me they were trying to get a guy from a local painting company to come over and pressure wash their house but he was booked with painting jobs and didn’t know if he could squeeze them in. I smiled. One owner questioned me so I explained my new business. They wanted a quote. I asked to hold off as that was not the reason I was there. They insisted so I went ahead and gave them a quote. While I came in a very close 2nd of the agents they interviewed (1st loser :frowning: ) , I did not get the listing. I did get the house washing. I’d much rather have had the listing or both of course but I will at least get to help them sell their house in a round about way. Trying to stay positive as the paycheck will be much lower…lol.

Ya i hate that feeling of rejection when you don’t win a bid, but it goes away. There’s plenty of work out there, stay strong
