Oil on gravel

We had a PW give up in this driveway last week. Fortunately it’s gravel, unfortunately they washed the oil off the rig and all over it. We’d leave it to nature, or a rake, since people don’t usually care about gravel all that much, but they’re listing the house for sale ASAP. Probably going to just hit it with some Gutter Butter, but any pressure will of course send it all over the yard…any viable ideas other than a truckload of gravel on top?

Can you just take some rakes and spread it around evenly?

Sprinkle some dirt/sand on top and rake/blow/water it in perhaps?

Or…spread oil evenly across the rest of the gravel area to match what’s already there :upside_down_face:

get a truck of gravel and spread it around

I have a bad habit of not reading things entirely

How did you quote me saying “well crap” then I click the little arrow and it changes to me saying something else. I isn’t more smart enough to figure it out

Spray some degreaser on it, let sit for 10min, then rinse with real hot water. While your guys are doing that, I suggest you be shopping for small dump truck load of gravel.
