Nozzle sizing for 14" surface washer

Hello all,
I bought a BE 14" whirl a way cleaner and will be running it off of a Simpson 3.5 gpm 4000 psi unit. Gx270 with AAA direct driven pump. (I m a homeowner that might clean a few driveways here and there, so no financial reasoning to get a belt drive unit}.

I haven’t put a gauge online, but will be using a short hose etc. Since I’ll be doing residential, I want to keep the psi to a safe range, but don’t want to go too low.
2.5 orifices ought to put me around 1900 psi
2.0 orifices ought to put me around 3000 psi, (not factoring any losses.)
Can I get away with running 40 degree 2.0 orifices to reduce the applied psi at the surface?
Does anyone do anything silly like run mismatched orifices, or does that introduce an imbalance? {one 2.0 and one 2.5 would yield around 2400 psi not factoring losses}
Thank you all in advance for any light you can shed.

If you decide to run mismatched nozzles please take a video and upload it for our viewing pleasure
