Nozzle O-ring blowing every day?

Hello!

I am going through o-rings rings at the nozzle like crazy.

I have had replaced the o-ring once in 2 years. This year, and in the past few months, I am going through an o-ring per day!

I have replaced the quick connect, and the threads are fine, but it’s still happening.

I use a hot water PW, and the o-rings are from the same pack that lasted over a year.

I use a 15° nozzle, 3,000psi. 5-gpm, 200°.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Are you lubricating them with anything? They could have reached the end of their shelf life. No telling how old they were when you got them. Where are they from? There’s more than a few good reasons I only buy and use Parker o-rings. When you said this, what do you mean? I don’t know how threads will play a part.

How’s the end of quick connect? If it’s buggered up it’ll tear up the orings.

I’m confused there’s two ends!!!

I had a wand with corded and broken threads.

Thank you, I had not considered shelf life!
