I’m at a weird place with growing my business. I’d compare it to a tier system. I’d rank the legitimate professional guys in tier 5 and a total novice in tier 1. Going into 2020, I had so much momentum built up that I was ready to jump from tier 2 to tier 4. But Sniffles-19 turned the 2020 season into a lost year. I wouldn’t have an issue spending more money to get a better setup but I don’t know that I’ll have the clientele base to justify spending what it will take for a semi-pro set up. So I’m stuck right in the middle. I know far more than a novice but I don’t have the clientele of a semi-pro or pro. I don’t need my current purchase to be my last purchase, I need it to help me work efficiently enough until im ready to take the next step.

You’ll make what you want depending on how hard you push. I started 6 months ago and I’m now I’m pulling $2000 weeks minimum (and that was in 3 days). I’ve spent $500 on advertising in 6 months.
If spending extra is in your budget then I would do it. If it’s not don’t. But if you’ve been washing already this should be a simple decision.

Look, the advice has really been consistent, let me summarize by saying that you can’t make a purse out of a sow’s ear. You want tier 5? Don’t buy either. Both are tier 3 machines at best. Wait until you’ve done a few more jobs and buy a tier 5 machine: 690 or 800, and then come back for advice on THAT machine. You want to run with the big dogs? Stop whining about which little dog machine is better. Stay on the porch until you’re ready to big dog it, and stop wasting our time.
