We get the same posts. My suggestion is to overlook the negative by altering your perceptions. There was a humorist and philosopher in the last century named Will Rogers, He wrote,

“I never met a man I didn’t like.”

How could that possibly be? My guess is he altered his perception to look for the good in people. Let me finish this post by exclaiming that “I work for some of the best people on Earth!”

Dude, you quit too soon on that brick. When bleaching stains off of brick, I start my jobs spraying stains, then come back to those stains to reapply my 4-5% solution. It usually takes 3 to 4 applications to fully kill and bleach stains on brick.

I’m not trying to insult your work, but I would NOT use that particular photo to display my work.

NEXT DOOR UPDATE:

Yesterday I gave two estimates from Next Door leads, and am scheduled for one of them at 8:30 this morning. He called and said “I saw what you did for that sign, and I’d like you to do the same for my house.” I’m betting that the other will call me this morning.

I’m aware of the 4-5% method. Sometimes I have had to go even stronger for set in stain, but it works every time. I must be overlooking something bc I don’t see what you see. Where are the spots? Brick, concrete, pillar, wall, window?

He must be seeing the shade from the bush lol.

Must be bc I’m pretty darn certain those bricks are clean lol. I got filthy with the turbo tip cleaning them. Mulch everywhere. I haven’t found a way to avoid it.

Firstly, I use XJet and LOVE IT. Secondly, the only reason you need to use ANY pressure is to rinse. Let the chems do the freaking work. THis was my first job of the day:

This house required three applications of 5% SH. My rinse was probablyt superfluous. I couldn’t even rinse the steps because the mortar was so weak.

Thirdly, there’s a time and place for everything. Fourthly, thanks for the suggestions

Can you use a strip of tin at the edge of cement/bricks?

You might even try a paint shield with handle.

I have not tried this. Have you had success with it?

I’m guessing you’re talking about one of the commercial paint shields. I have never seen one, but I was talking to a painter the other day about them. I’ll have to look into it. Thanks
