Now this bench… has suffered way more abuse than the Yukon’s and I get the warm and fuzzies every time I use it. I built two of them and I think they’d still be around if a bomb hit my building.

I built a similar, but not rolling, 10’ bench years ago, but it’s always covered in at least 173 current projects 
I need something that’s always empty and ready for those right-now-gotta-get-done things. Yea, I know how that’s gonna work…
I kid I kid. I loved our ordnance guys. Whenever we went on the road when we were “deployed” they had to come to verify the torque on our flare buckets. They just all ended up partying harder than anybody else because they didn’t have to be completely sober for show time. They got the best of both worlds, per diem and very little responsibility.
I was on C-130s so we only had one or two planes per squadron that actually carried hellfires and whatnot. So not much work for the ordnance guys.

I bet Blaire has been driving herself crazy for months wondering where she put her hot pad and cooling racks. I do that with Michelle’s cupcake pans and cookie sheets because they’re great for parts cleaning. The cupcake tins are great for carbs. I just hide them in my cleaning tank so she can’t see them.

Don’t get me wrong, I would love a clean shop and toolbox. But with the 300 jobs I had it wasn’t in the cards. Maybe now that I have more time I’ll do something about it.
