New surface cleaner device

Sorry if this is verboten, thought it looked interesting.

It’s a valve attachment that lets you dial down the pressure being sent to the nozzles while dumping the rest through a bypass hose into the surface cleaner cover. Doesn’t affect the pump.

Craig Harrison of F9 had it on his Facebook page.

Apparently you can add a pressure gauge to it as well.

Photo is by JJ Sisson. I got permission from Craig to post it.

I agree does look interesting and probably does work. It’s cool Its routed into the surface cleaner cover and not just on the ground. I dont know about you all but I generally dont have to change my tips enough to warrent installing a valve on my sc very cool idea though!!

I dial it down with my ball valve, works great. Doing it my way doesnt appear to do any harm that I notice.

Same here

Doesn’t that mess with the pump in some way?

Wouldn’t that be same pressure but less flow?

Send link please

Maybe, i can look at the concrete while dialing it down and see the change in pressure by the stripes, not enough just dial it back up. This is only with a 420cc motor, geardrive and 5.5 3500 pump, vrt3.

Less volume through the same orifice = less pressure

The setup on the website looks different but that guy JJ may have streamlined it a bit.

Industry running out of ideas for valves lol.

I’ll have to try the ball valve method, was concerned it overworked…something.

You don’t want that on your equipment. Your unloader doesn’t either
