New rig “Dirty Money”

Well done sir the lights are a nice touch guess you plan on doing some night work?? IDK why but im not a fan of night work at all messes with my whole sleep schedule. Other people love the night hawk shift they say its so relaxing.

Very nice rig bud, I hope to one day have one similar! I’m going to use the " Dirty Hands, Clean Money" sticker!

I added them for the few night jobs I do but mostly for when I packing up from a late job. With the time change it gets dark at 430 so if I’m running behind I can still see the last little bit, but they definitely help when I’m packing up to leave.

Thanks man, let me know when you get ready to build. I love brain storming and coming up with cool stuff. I took my old direct drive 4@4 to my moms house on Thanksgiving and washed her house for her bday. I put a piece of angle iron on the bottom of the reel like we talked about so it doesn’t slide out the back when pulling hose.

I ran the bypass out between tailgate and bumper so I don’t have to worry about heat build up. Simple but works well.

I love the colored lights. Thought about doing something similar but unfortunately I am almost never out after dark.

I like it looks cool all over.

Thanks man it was fun setting it up.

The idea with lighting the tank is genius. Not only does it look cool, but it makes it way easier to see your water level at night. My pump is fed from the tank, and I typically have to turn it off and on all the time. Seeing it from a distance is easy during daylight, but I put a 30min timer on my phone just to check it and make sure I’m not overfilling at night. I’m stealing your idea! I’ve got a bare trailer the same size I’m going to start building on next year, and hope mine will be this badass! Very nice work bud!

Are they waterproof? Did you put them in the tank or underneath pointing up?

$99 guy is no good for the industry. I was delivering pizzas at night for awhile and doing carpentry work through the winters installing custom closets while I was trying to figure things out. Selling myself short isn’t something I’ve ever done on purpose.

You should see $99 guy here in KC. He’s the first thing I imagine when I see “$99 guy”…

Dragon.

I do $99 from time to time. After expenses make about $85 for an hours work. Don’t see how that’s bad. That rig is bad ass though you definitely look professional.

Inside the tank?
I like the idea of using this.
Good for advertizing

Why dont you just use a float valve? They are like $30 at TSC.

No lights inside either tank. The chem tank has the light strips under ratchet straps and the lights for the tote are stuck to the cross bracing bars

Carry two. I’ve replaced mine on the spot twice this year, but I couldn’t imagine filling from hydrants without one.

I’m actually embarrassed that I had no idea these existed :man_facepalming:

Hydrants will blow your fittings apart about the first time the float stops the water flow

What do you use then when you hook up to hydrants?

We just keep the water gated back. If i see a truck over flowing I’ll walk over and cut the water off for a minute.

I need to get set up for hydrant fills so I can roll like a real boss lol
