New pump sight glass wheel not spinning?

I’ve got pumps with 3 and 4 thousand hours that have never had the oil changed

Because you have bulletproof Udors. The rest of us are dealing with Cat, AR, Comet, AAA…
I don’t think any of those would stand up to that abuse.
New pump, change oil after 50 hours. Change every year after that.
My rule of thumb…Just saying.
That’s what I do, no argument wanted or needed.

I know I could get away with two years on the oil which would put it right around 5,200 hours but we’re talking about $3.80 worth of oil to do it yearly.

I should mention I turn my pumps a bit slower and they dont see max psi either. I’m about 900 under.

Yep,I just go by the book. I changed mine @ fifty as well, and every 500. Honda every 100.hrs.$20 well spent

Actually I change my Honda every 50, full synthetic. But, that’s just me.

Don’t look past the Super Tech synthetic
