Was thinking. And I’d like to upgrade the cheap Simpson 2.5 gpm pump thats on my Honda gc190… I think it’s only like a 5 horse power engine tho… I’m wondering if that engine will support at least a 3.5 gpm pump?..
Do the math. I’ve posted the formula here for the last 5 years. Should be easy to search.

The normal equation won’t work on that engine. It’s for commercial duty engines. Honda gc is not. And typically only rated at 500 hour life span
Horsepower is horsepower. Math doesn’t change, it is one consistent in life.

True but one can dissipate the heat better. The other will fail under full load for to long of time.
