New pressure hose time

That’s what I was figuring, at least if you’re referring to them getting stuck on…we’ve found 30 seconds with a round file and they’re pretty close to good as new. As long as you catch them before they really get stuck.

Hansen QC seem to hold up better, not sure if the price of them are justified in the long run…but would you them on my gun for sure.

still looking at hose options …

My last order from russ i got a massive amount of cheap quick connects but some of them literally dont go together. I have some hansen in 1/2" and they are real smooth. I think some of the cheap qc are good enough but then some of them are down right terrible

Welp, I just dropped a little over 2 bills before shipping on 10 fancy QC fittings / plugs. Hopefully they are the good stuff. Had to get all ‘Iron Mike’ with my gun today a couple times to get it to let go. Too early in the season to be dealing with all that. Everything from the tip of the hose, forward will see an upgrade.

Precision machining. They fit better with less play and last longer between wear intervals. The Chinese stuff is mass produced garbage with no quality control. Hold both in your hand and play with them you’ll notice tighter tolerances.

I mean, I always figure that when we’re comparing Chinese-made to…well, made anywhere else. My question was more along the lines of what is the gained benefit. Our cheapo QCs seem to be doing fine, and when they start binding a little bit, we’re able to file them and get them back to working well.

Well the idea with quality fittings is to not have to add another step of maintenance. The best and most cost effective process is no process at all.

Fair enough
