btw the bottom text stands out more in person than on the file

So that’s what an Aussie phone number looks like, huh?

Had to look up the grammar for story… looks like its spelt differently outside the US.
I like it! Only thing you might consider is a “coupon” for x off during y timeframe, customer of mine does yard work and commented frequently that he gets calls because he offers a "discount " that’s not really a true discount he just bids slightly higher.

That’s a good idea, I was thinking about adding a “15 or 20% off this November” or something but ran out of room lol. These cards will be being delivered around all the affluent neighborhoods in Adelaide

I’d have a call to action or time sensitive offer. What Is going to make them call now. Maybe ditch the water background, although neat looking, it does make it very busy. Play with bold fonts. Less is more. Use disruptive colors to catch attention. I’ll include some pictures from google that hit on all those points. With that said, I’m not graphic designer nor claim to be an Expert😉(with designing). I use Tim Fields for a lot of my stuff. Ryan Kettering is great too. Btw, my first door hanger was awful but I still hustled and made it work.

Update: I’ve gotten a load of work from these cards. Its summer in Australia so that will be helping my case obviously. One lady did comment on the quality of the cards and said she was impressed as most of advertising she gets in her mailbox feels and looks cheap.

How many did you send out?

Around 2500 in various affluent neighborhoods. I think for 2020 I’m going to focus more on online advertising as it flyers kinda seem to give you big ups and downs. I’d rather have a steady stream then 15 or 20 calls over a few days and then it dies off again

That many calls for that amount of flyers is almost unheard of. I’d continue the flyers and also give online marketing a try

Keep in mind though that this was in December (Summer time in Australia). As my mother pointed out, January usually slows right down as people have spent big $ over Xmas & New Years.

@wap2dem your mother’s right! January and school holidays are always up and down. It’s been like that for 16 years. Never stop marketing, results come weeks and months later.
