New injector with check valve ISSUES

Downstream injector with check valve.

Specs: Honda gx690, 8gpm, inject. bypass from pump to reel.

Attempted troubleshoots:
I’ve gone close and further away from pump, with and without bypass, pressure adjust up and down.
And today (the general pump Softwash depot one just came in)we are doing apartments and it does not function as well. However it will start to pull if the throttle is at about 30-50 percent.

3 purchased injectors with check valves all will not pull:

  • Southeast Softwash DS check valve.
  • Softwash depot DS check valve which design wise seems the best. All stainless, general pump injector.
  • last one was from spraywell. All slightly different designs and check valve internals.

What orifice number is on the injector(s)? How long is your pressure hose? How long is the bleach line? What nozzle number are you using? Are you sure the injector is facing the correct way, there is an arrow on it.

BTW the injector should be where that ball valve is for better flow.

The injector is the standard 5-8gpm so 2.3
Hose @ 200ft
Bleach line runs to manifold I built to meter then to remote valve box
Nozzle is m5 twist rated 8-12gpm
And yes arrow is correct direction of chem draw

Oops, manifold to bleach is about 6ft

I believe you need to be using a 2.1 injector, the other guys know more than me on the other stuff.

I’m not really sure why you’re using a manifold for downstreaming, mine comes straight from the bleach tank to the remote, no dilution. It nets about .8% after 150’.

Disconnect the manifold…run sh line to the injector, see if it pulls chems. If it does you probably have leak somewhere in the manifold……
