New guy on the block

I’ve been really looking into starting a power washing business here soon. There is not many around here just a bunch of mobile detailers and guys with the $200 special pressure washer from Walmart. I have a 99 f250 with a 7.3 diesel, I have two trailers, one is 7x14 and one is 8x18. I have two 275 gallon tanks but I was wondering what I should buy for residential, small commercial and roof cleaning. I have been looking at surface cleaners and was wondering about them to. I have a few commercial guys that is very interested but nothing to major. I really wanna crawl before I walk kinda deal so I don’t go broke getting a rig together. Any tips would be appreciated. I have been on here all day learning some stuff. Thank you and have a blessed day/night!

I would say that you buy equipment as you need it for certain jobs. A surface cleaner would be something you should have from the start.

I agree. Also, don’t NOT bid a job because you don’t have the equipment. Bid it at a FAIR rate, then go get the equipment, then watch how often you end up using that equipment…I promise, you’ll be pleasantly surprised!
